Our goal is to deploy new technologies to build products that deliver unparalleled levels of information and service over the Internet to both buyers and sellers of Bermuda real estate. By putting complete property information and transactional services at your fingertips, we hope to add value and simplify the process of buying and selling real estate. At My-Bermuda-House, we think the buying process should be, as far as possible, a seamless online experience. From your initial search enquiry through to viewings and the purchase of your Bermuda property, we work with you to ensure that all aspects of your property search and purchase run smoothly. Here’s what we do …
- Fast Searching: we make it easy for you to identify properties that meet your requirements from the comfort of your living room. There are several different ways for you to search our property database depending on your preference – Quick Search, Advanced Search, Map Search or Pre-configured Searches. Whichever method you choose, a search query will return the set of properties that meet the criteria you provided. These properties are presented on the Search Results page in descending price order with a thumbnail photograph and a short abstract.
- Full Details: You can click on any property on the Search Results page to see a full property description. To make your online search as informative as possible, we provide a range of tools to create a complete and accurate impression of a property. Virtual tours, digital photo galleries, location maps, floor plans and accurate property descriptions will help you to shortlist properties that best meets your requirements.
- Favorites: When you register with MBH, we create a private space for you on our secure server. There you can add properties you like to a Favorites list in your personal Notebook for easy recall. We have even provided a Comments feature, which you can use to take notes or record questions about each individual property.
- Property Preferences: In your Notebook, you are able to set your property preferences regarding the type of property you are looking for. Once recorded, we will send you an online alert as soon as a qualifying property is added to our Property Database.
- Mortgage Preferences: In Notebook, you are also able to set mortgage preferences, including down payment, term and interest rate. These figures will then be applied in our mortgage calculator to show you the cost to you of purchasing a particular property.
- Book Viewings: Found a property you like? The next step is see it in person. My-Bermuda-House let’s you book a viewing appointment online directly from the Property Details page. Just pull up the relevant page, click the "Make an Appointment" icon, fill in the data fields and submit the request. It's as simple as that. Your request will be forwarded directly to the party responsible for showing the property.
- Online Offers: Seen a home you like and want to make an offer? My-Bermuda-House lets you submit offers from our website. Simply navigate to the relevant Property Details page, click the "Make an Offer" icon, fill in the data fields and submit the form. Your offer will be sent directly to the party responsible for selling the property. If this is My-Bermuda-House (as real estate agent for the property) we will communicate your offer to the owner as quickly as possible. If My-Bermuda-House is not the acting agent, your offer will be sent directly to the owner (or other real estate agent as the case may be) if they have elected to sell the property themselves. In either case, the responsible party will receive your offer and will respond to you as soon as possible.
